The Shiraoi Beef Festival, the grandest event in Shiraoi, was held on June 1st and 2nd, 2024 on the Porotomintar premises.

It’s the first time after 5 years it was held again. About 14,000 people from over the country including foreign tourists came to enjoy the event in two days.

We hope to be able to welcome more people to the Shiraoi Beef Festival next year!

The venue is located in the center of Shiraoi Town, a 5-minute walk from Shiraoi Station.

Exchanging reserved beef coupons for beef on the site (10% discount from the price on the day)

Don’t worry if you haven’t reserved beef coupons, you can buy them on the day.

Free grills were available, and the rental price of a grill net was 500 Yen.

There are various foods and snacks besides beef

Wakaba-no-Hon, which provided confectionery for the Emperor, is very popular with the locals and tourists.

The roasted whole beef (Black Wagyu)  that the participants most longed for.
