TOBIU ART FESTIVAL / TOBIU CAMP
A forest that was once deemed impossible for people to even enter. Reforestation of the tobiu began in 2011 when volunteers who were attracted to this mysterious "tobiu" land came together. First the bamboo was cut, then a path was made, then a cabin, and then a stage. The only thing here is a small school building and grand, a forest, vast pastures, and rugged nature. Once a year we invite artists and visitors who become the cast in a story that unfolds in the Tobiu Art Festival and Camp in the forest. Every aspect of nature, from the wind and heavy rain, the songs of insects and animals, to the skies filled with stars, and the morning dew weave together an amazing story. Please bring your special someone and a tent and join us in this special event.
