Performers from many organizations and societies such as Shiraoi Folk Performing Arts Preservation Society, Shiraoi Town Kojohama Echigo Odori Preservation Society, Hokkaido Sakae High School Brass Band, will entertain visitors on the day with a range of musical and dance performances including Bon Odori, Upopo (Ainu songs), and etc.
The ROOTS & ARTS SHIRAOI 2023 has passed a half of its journey and welcomed a lot of visitors to its exhibitions, tours and experience programs. On October 9th it will hold a final event named “Shiraoi Culture Exchange” to close up this season. The event will be a festival where diverse people, expressions and cultures from inside and outside of Shiraoi Town intersect.
Besides the stage performances, restaurants from Shiraoi and Sapporo will have their food stands to serve visitors at the venue.
